About Text Tools

Text Tools is a free collection of browser-based text utilities for writers, developers, editors, and anyone who works with text daily. Every tool runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded, nothing is logged, and no account is ever required.

The tools are deliberately small and focused: each one does one thing well. Paste your text, get an instant result, copy it back. No forms to fill in, no menus to navigate, no waiting for server responses.

Text Tools is built and maintained by Ashish Kumar, as part of the Renderlog family of free browser-based tools.

What you can do with Text Tools

• Count words, characters, sentences, paragraphs, and reading time
• Convert text between uppercase, lowercase, title case, sentence case, and toggle case
• Compare two texts and see additions, deletions, and changes highlighted
• Remove duplicate lines, empty lines, extra spaces, or punctuation
• Sort, reverse, shuffle, and number lines in any list
• Encode and decode Base64, URL slugs, HTML entities, and Unicode
• Preview Markdown with live rendered output
• Strip or format HTML, extract links and images, check heading structure
• Analyze keyword density, readability scores, and word frequency

All processing happens locally using JavaScript in your browser. The text you paste is never sent to any server and is not stored anywhere. We have no ability to see your content, and we never will.
