Privacy Policy

What data do we collect?
None of your text. Every operation — word counting, case conversion, text comparison, Base64 encoding, slug generation — runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The text you paste is never sent to any server, is not stored anywhere, and is not visible to us. We have no ability to read it even if we wanted to.
We do collect limited usage and diagnostic data — which pages are visited, which buttons are clicked, and any errors the site throws — so we can tell when something is broken. That is described in the sections below. It never includes the content you type.
Analytics
This site uses Vercel Analytics, which collects anonymous page-view counts to help us understand which tools are used most. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies, does not track individual users, and does not collect any personally identifiable information. See Vercel's privacy documentation for details.
We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how the tools are actually used — where people click, how far they scroll, and where they get stuck — which is how we find broken buttons and confusing layouts. Clarity records these interactions and sets cookies, and may collect information such as your IP address, device and browser type. The text you enter into any tool is masked before it is recorded and is never transmitted. See Microsoft's privacy statement for details.
Error monitoring
When something goes wrong in the browser, a diagnostic report is sent to Sentry so the fault can be fixed. These reports contain the error message, the page it happened on, and your browser and operating system version. They do not contain the text you entered into any tool.
Advertising
This site is funded by advertising served through Google AdSense. To deliver and measure ads, Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies, which may collect information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, and the pages you visit on this site. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Advertising cookies are handled entirely by Google and its partners — they have no access to the text you paste into any tool, because that text never leaves your device.
You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, review how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and opt out of many third-party vendor cookies at optout.aboutads.info.
Third-party services
Text Tools loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. Google may log the font request (your IP address and browser User-Agent) per their standard infrastructure.
